And ~ where will the next adventure take me?
This was after finishing my speeches and exploring worldly places.

June is the month for the William Glasser Institute International Conference. Paricipants will gather together from many international places to celebrate Choice Theory and the works of world renown Dr. William Glasser. I am so looking forward! This is a true coming together with ideas, memories and the celebration of Choice Theory and Reality Therapy. - - - - And what a conference it was held at LMU - Loyola Marymount University on the bluff by the beach in Marina Del Rey! Participants came from the world over and the dialogue on Choices was fulfilling and exciting. The highlight was the astounding admiration for Dr. William Glasser himself who is the founder of Choice Theory and the William Glasser Institute. There were 22 in the delegation from Japan. Masaki is the leader of the Glasser Institute Asia representation. It was a highlight to see him because when I spoke in Japan on Choices and Creativity he is the one who made it all possible. I continue to lecture and to share the volunteering possibilities of reaching out to others.
This is my JOY! Expanding horizons for my audience and...me!
Writing is my passion - when others take it on in new and special ways - it is magic to me! Is is amost "serendipity" to travel and even find myself in Zumbaland....
As I have been speaking and cruising, what a surprise to have zumba a part of my experiences. A special thank you to all who make Zumba experiences so exciting! Yesterday I did Zumba on the top deck of a large cruise ship. The wind was blowing, the sun was shining and the music inspiring. How amazing and what a memorable morning sailing out of Jamaica. (A place I love that I once thought of moving too.) Irie! When: Saturday, September 10 · 1:00pm - 3:30pm
Location:320 Via Las Brisas Newbury Park CA Who: Organized by amazing Zumba guru herself, Amanda, and more instructors and Zumba enthusiasts then we can count. And: Proceeds go to Autism and to the kids and families. Let's do it! I can't wait!! Possibilites are endless.
The serendipity always comes into my life as those of you who know me, know. Share the day with open eyes and thoughts and ~ who knows? As - Every day is unique and special! "My Word!" was the response when my illustrator, David Endelman, and I became husband and wife, Valentine's, 2006. (My favorite time of year.)
Our children's books:The Spelling Bee and Me: A Real Life Adventure in Learning The Big Squeal: A Wild , True, and Twisted Tail Life's Little Lessons: Inch by Inch, a Tale of Success Please go to GailSmall.com for more information on my books and passion... Life goes in full circle. I loved using Circle in my educational career as students of all ages shared their appreciations and concerns. This is a spin-off of the many characteristics of Choices. I am certified with The William Glasser Institute in Choice Theory, Reality Therapy and Lead Management. We all have so many choices each and every day.
Full circle? Today I met with Tricia, my student from the 70's and we are still in touch and sharing JOY. Thank you Tricia for being you. + She tells me that soon I will get the opportunity to visit with other students from the early days of my career. ;-) |
