How gracious of this restaurant to reach out to a family with a young child of serious health problems. 20% of the night went to honor and support dear four-year-old little Gracie.
Yes, the food there is always consistent, delicious and a friendly staff...
Yet this time it also had an ambiance of people from near and far + of all ages making a difference. When I drove up the streets were filled with cars parked everywhere. When I walked a ways to the restaurant there was a long line and quiet conversation among friends and strangers. All there to support a cause. Dining in and take-out, it was indeed a crowd. Gracie could not attend as she is in Children's Hospital who are doing a job of wonder. When her Grandpa Steve ordered his pot roast they were all sold out. Those though were good words to hear as $1000+ was raised with heartfelt happiness and hope for little Gracie.
